house which is only about ten years old is built almost entirely of brick and grmite, the floors and roof being composed of steel joists and re-inforced concrete. The land consists of Rural Building Lot No. 120 and a Garden Lot (G.L.31). I enclose a plan showing the laying out of the ground and the surrounding Orown Land on which it is proposed to erect several houses to be rented by Government Officers. The sites are small, but on the lover portion of the grounds of "Tanderages" there is room for two tennis courts which can be made available for the occupants of the other houses.

The purchase of "Tanderagee" is generally regarded as being a good bargain for the Government, a much higher price in dollars having been asked quite recent -17.
